Hi Everyone, My family was invited to a piano recital for a friend's son.  So I thought to myself that I must make a card to give to reflect the occasion.  This is not an original card but cased off the internet but I did change a few things.  I wanted to make sure it was masculine for the reciever since he is a high school senior.  Of course I waited to the last minute to make the card but I was not planning in advance and in the middle of making the card at my mom's house my son was having an asthma attack and we need to race home.  After several hours and the time to leave to go the recital was upon us I finished the card just in time.  I do need to plan more in advance.  Next I will be working on some baby cards for co-workers of my husband.

I made back to school gifts for my kids teachers.  These are little note pad holders.  I made the note pads out of computer paper and stamped each sheet with an apple.  I used school themed stamps around the outside of the holder and a piece of ribbon and botton on the end was glued inside to keep the paper in place.  School starts next week so happy back to school teachers and students.

I made a few of these cards up for my kids teachers for a present.  I always like to give something at the start of school.  The apple is a sizzix die that I cut out of cork and the worm is an eyelet I bought online just for this project from eyelets.com
